Welcome to this section of my Blog where I am going to talk about last year’s trip to México

Greetings to all!!
Last year, I had two options: a) Going to Grasse, France or; b) Going to México to visit family and friends and meet new people.
Both options were in my mind, but last year I came late to the enrolment of a course in Perfume Making or related courses at Grasse, France. This made me to decide to go back to visit family and friends and spend good six weeks there re-connecting with people and re-learning how to live in México, the country where I was born, educated, got married and left in 1996 to start living in Australia.
Searching for information about ‘Mexican Aromatic Plants’ in Google, I came across a very interesting article written by Dr Luz Maria Calvo about ‘Mexican Aromatic Plants’. Since then, we have been in contact. Thank you Dr Calvo for your confidence and generousity and knowledge in Mexican Plants and Mexican Aromas.
Great to see your post about visiting Dr. Calvo in Yucatan. Dr. Calvo does incredible research into the plants and flowers that were important for the Mayan culture and I am sure you must have learned a lot about this fascinating subject.
Thank you Tony,
It was a real pleasure meeting Dr Luz María Calvo Irabien. She is a down to earth and intelligent generous human being, worth meeting.
