I was born in Mexico City and lived and studied and married there for 34 years.

In 1981, I studied Computing Engineering at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), wrote a thesis about voice computer generation and phonemes processing project, then I worked in various areas of Computing for 8 years in Mexico.

I migrated to Sydney, Australia with my husband in October 1996. My first job was in IT working for an Eye Research and Development Institute in Sydney for 9 years. In that time, I combined my work with some Visual Art and I had some experience participating in Art exhibitions in Sydney since 2002 becoming actively involved in visual arts during that period.

During 2006 and 2007 I studied Certificate II in Art and Printing and Design at TAFE NSW, Kingswood Campus and worked in 2008 as an Information and Publications Officer for a Community Legal Centre.

During this time my Carer responsibilities did not allow me to have a full-time job and I started changing careers.

I pursued photography since 2009 as part of bringing images of our life in Australia to family and friends in Mexico, then, later started photographing the garden and documenting the garden. Since then, I have focused on Floral photography and since 2016 I have been dedicated to Product and Process Photography, in this case, applied to Perfumes, Soaps and Cosmetics.

Since 2008 I worked supporting a Community Legal Centres as an Information and Publication Officer and then in 2011 I worked for Counsellors and Social Workers at CatholicCare Social Services in Education and Family Support Services doing Administrative work

In 2014 I studied my Certificate III in Business Administration and Certificate IV in Arts Administration and did my Internship with the Local Government NSW in the Arts under the supervision of Chloe Biever.

In 2015 I studied Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

At the end of 2016, my interest in learning the Art and Craft of Perfume Making became my priority. In my search for courses here in Australia, I found in my local area in Penrith great Perfumery and Cosmetics Body Care Courses at “Heirloom Body Care” and also, they became my main supplier since then. At Heirloom Body Care I took courses of Perfume Making, Soaps, Creams and Lotions, Body Care products and Shampoo throughout the years 2016 – 2019.

On the 5th of February 2017, I opened my Etsy shop “AESCreationNaturel“. I have been growing very gradually as I make my products from scratch and also customise perfume fragrances for my clients. I also attended a very useful course in Cosmetics Business provided by “New Directions” at Marrickville in 2017.

In 2018, I travelled to México and because of my Mexican Heritage, I was very interested in the search of Mexican Plants Aromas as they were used by the Mayans and the Aztecs. For that reason, I decided to go back to Mexico and promote my perfumes and met up with Dr Luz Maria Calvo who worked as a Research Project Manager at the “CICY” (Centro de Investigación Cientifica de Yucatán (CICY)) a Scientific Research Institute in Yucatan dedicated to the Native Plants of Yucatan and the extraction of their Essential Oils and their Uses from local Ethnical Flora.

In May 2019, then, I was able to go to the Ancient Town of Grasse in the French Riviera, the Centre of the World Perfume Industry and I enrolled at the Grasse Institute of Perfumery (GIP) AFSO / PRODAROM, where I was able to study Natural Perfumes with Elisabeth Proal, a Chemist and Perfumer for Chanel for 25 years. Also, I learned how to formulate Natural Cosmetics with Carol André, Perfumer trained in Paris and Director of Iris Consulting / Jean Bouis Parfums.

During 2020 I have been studying my Certificate IV in New Small Business, then, in November 2021 started an upgraded course into Entrepreneurship. Also joined the HERBusiness Network and other Women in Business groups within this Network.
